Every year at the end of January we have the Acumatica Summit, where Acumatica releases the first release (R1) for the year. With the 2021 Summit moved to the summer, Acumatica 2021 R1 launched virtually on February 18th. Here are the highlights of the launch:
Usability Enhancements
New with the 2021 R1 release, you can add linked and meter tiles to your dashboards, and share data across dashboards using a simple click of a button. There are new visibility conditions available for side panels. Finally, there new dashboards for Controller, AR and AP that are built in.
Advanced Notifications
In 2021R1, there is new way to alert customers & vendors using notifications. By setting parameters and filters using general inquiries and using new no code/low code capabilities for business events, you can easily send out on demand or scheduled notifications.
Cross Company Sales Enablement
By including new automation features, Acumatica 2021R1 has made the process of purchasing, shipping, invoicing, and receiving payments easier across two companies in different tenants.
Generate Revenue with CRM
For those using the mobile application you can use the business card recognition AI feature to automatically read business cards and enter the information into Acumatica. This is useful for busy sales people and speeds up the lead entering process.
